Pembelajaran Berbasis Kecerdasan Jamak (Multiple Intelligence) dalam Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

Multiple Intelligence theory comes to education as an answer to the problem of the power of human intelligence that is only seen in Logic-Mathematical and Linguistic intelligence abilities. However, in Multiple Intelligences theory is offered in the form of nine forms of human intelligence, namely: (1) Logical-Mathematical Intelligence, (2) Linguistic Intelligence, (3) Visual-Spatial Intelligence, (4) Kinesthetic Intelligence, (5). Musical Intelligence, (6) Interpersonal Intelligence, (7) Intrapersonal Intelligence, (8) Natural Intelligence, (9) Existentialist Intelligence. The application of Multiple Intelligences Theory confirms that every individual living on earth is born with a number of potential intelligences and is endowed with unique uniqueness to develop as well as improve abilities and achieve life goals and objectives, especially in the education process. Learning using Multiple Intelligences Theory is a learning innovation that can be implemented in education for teachers in Indonesia. The form of implementation of learning based on Multiple Intelligences Theory is to use multi-model learning, an interdisciplinary approach to the process of developing learning materials, while in terms of learning evaluation can be done with an authentic assessment model. It aims to fully accommodate the diversity of intelligence possessed by students.
